Role Description:

We are looking for a Lease Pricing Specialist to join the Global Leasing, Pricing & Portfolio Analysis team, which has  teammates in the US, London and Hong Kong. You will support for various segments of the Global Leasing business that are engaged in a broad range of structured asset-finance transactions (including asset-secured lending, finance leasing, operating leasing and hybrid / structured products in a broad range of asset classes and markets).  You will be responsible for handling all aspects of pricing, economic analysis, and structuring support on assigned new business and portfolio management projects and may also be required to work on occasional strategic analytic assignments and/or development of tools to support the Leasing business globally.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to evaluate transaction economics, price new transactions for both hold and sell, and model transactions around internal metrics and/or syndication markets

  • Use creativity to optimize cash flows / structures and prepare presentation materials for internal and external presentation

  • Prepare associated document schedules, pricing exhibits and review and develop documentation as needed.

  • You will act as an analytical consultant and provide economic and structuring solutions to the Leasing team, external clients, management both informally and within formal transaction review forums

  • Provide support in identifying and working through commercial, structural, tax and accounting issues and be point of contact for Credit, Risk, Finance, Tax, and Operations on economic, tax, structural and accounting issues. 

  • You will be required to develop and maintain models as needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in mathematics, theoretical science, economics, accounting or finance

  • At least 3 years with complex Financial Analysis or related experience

  • Lease or Structured Asset Finance related work experience preferred, but not essential.

  • Experience in use of Excel and/or specialized tools for cash flow optimization and analysis. 

  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to communicate highly detailed or technical concepts to a diverse audience.  

  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple ongoing transactions/projects

  • Ability to investigate inefficient solutions and raise concerns with team.

Skills that will help:

  •  A good understanding of leasing or related asset finance products and technical expertise in associated lease taxation, accounting, or regulatory capital calculations is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Ivory SuperTrump and/or Warren & Selbert ABC (or similar) is particularly advantageous, but not essential.

  • Coding skills helpful.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Accounting, Tax, Credit, Operations and Documentation functions in the Leasing / Structured Asset Finance / Project Finance or similar sector.
