Team Overview:
The Data Transformation team is part of the Enterprise Data Strategy, Governance, and Operations organization within the Global Strategy and Enterprise Platform division. The team delivers complex data and regulatory reporting projects and technology across the globe solutions for the Bank of America that progress our data strategy across all Lines of Business and Support areas. The Data Transformation team is responsible for driving and overseeing program/project management, business analysis and requirements, functional design, testing, organization readiness and deployment activities.
Role Description:
The Program Management Executive role is focused on leading project management teams to transform people, process, and technology through strategic data initiatives across the company. The Program Management Executive is accountable for establishing governance and routines to bring stakeholders together to ensure progress toward common goals, and appropriately managing/escalating risks as they arise.
Responsibilities:
Proactively build program structures, project plans, and governance routines to facilitate the end to end program management of highly complex and enterprise wide initiatives
Consensus building with Front Office, Data, and Technology executives across all lines of business and support areas
Managing team of project managers that support multiple projects & workstreams
Mange reporting routines with senior executives and prepare all reporting documentation. Must have the ability to convey complicated messages in easy to understand materials
Coordinate with LOB & Data Management Executives to ensure key milestones and tollgates are met on time/on budget
Required:
10+ years’ experience in Financial Services / Finance Transformation
5+ years’ experience in leading a team of Business Analysts / Project Managers
5+ years’ experience navigating change within regulatory environment
A proven record of developing creative solutions to complex problems, challenging the status quo, and advocating for change
Ability to effectively prioritize work, efficiently manage multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders with divergent views to develop common solutions
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior leaders and proven ability to develop executive communications and presentations
Desired Skills:
MBA Preferred
PMP or Six Sigma Certification
Enterprise Role Overview:
Responsible for programs/projects specific to corporate change initiatives that have significant impact on how the company does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Project responsibility requires responsibility for staff and budget. Serves as primary contact to Executive management for critical change initiatives depending on scope and impact of business supporting. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Ability to translate business plans/policies into specific goals, tactics and action plans. Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively. Accountable for managing external and reputational risk. Management experience with large teams. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. Typically 7+ plus years of program management experience.
