Team / Overview

CFD and Structured Notes (CFD) is a market making desk for BAC credit risk via structured notes issued by the company. A structured note is a debt obligation with a pay-off linked to a derivatives instrument, eg rates or equity. CFD issues notes linked to a number of asset classes including commodities, credit, FX, rates and equity

The CFD Business Finance and Controls (BFC) team are focused on controls. The primary responsibility of the team is to run a series of key controls and ensure the integrity of the financial results. Getting the numbers right is the primary focus of the team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of the Daily P&L explain and attribution

  • Daily P&L substantiation and commentary

  • Daily Balance Sheet review and commentary

  • Monthly close of the legal books and records

  • Monthly Volcker review

  • Monthly Independent Price testing

  • Stress Testing and Forecasting

  • Quarterly Disclosures

  • Annual SOX reviews

Required Skills include:

  • Bachelor Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) - or related work experience

  • 2-4 years Financial Markets experience

  • Working knowledge of Excel

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

New York pay and benefits information

New York pay range:

$84,400 - $120,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
