RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with team members on developing new models, analytic processes or systems approaches.
Assist with Economic Research, narrative creation/review, and Review and Challenge of scenario results.
Assist with model documentation, interacting with MRM, completed OMRs by leading the teammates involved in the process with detailed instruction.
Apply quantitative models and techniques in order to address and resolve concrete financial problems.
Providing a micro and macro risk views.
Apply quantitative credit analytics, risk management techniques, fixed income and derivative valuation.
Perform balance sheet management, credit risk quantification, financial engineering, quantitative financial modeling, risk management, and/or trading operations and support.
Carry out analysis on company/industry level financial data, and exercise judgement to assess impacts on the Banks and CRE credit portfolios.
Utilize advanced quantitative techniques such as statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
Interrogate data using tools such as SQL and Python to extract and analyze large datasets by appropriately transforming variables.
Utilize time series analysis and statistical modelling to effectively capture risk, to forecast the impact of existing and new debt on business operations, and to interpret and challenge data provided by third parties as inputs into modelling activities.
Explore data from various data sources externally such as LexisNexis and credit reports as well as internal data sources.
Automate data fetching and analysis, producing results, documenting and presenting findings.
Assess risk factors relevant to clients within specific industries, and identifying data sources (and transformations of this data) which may provide indicative of these risk factors.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related; and
2 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.
Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Utilizing advanced quantitative techniques such as statistical analysis and predictive modeling;
Interrogating data using tools such as SQL and Python to extract and analyze large datasets by appropriately transforming variables;
