RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute trades of market products for clients located internationally including in Japan.
Maintain existing client relations by drawing out and identifying their investment needs, providing market analysis and recommendations.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of international macroeconomic and sociopolitical situations to pitch products such as US Treasuries and interest rates swap.
Acquire market information via internal communications with colleagues located in United Sates or elsewhere.
Review and discuss research papers and market updates with Japanese clients.
Work with internal compliance, credit and legal team to initiate client relations or to help existing clients smoothly execute ongoing and new trading needs.
Conduct sales of financial products and services directly to Japanese clients.
Use Bloomberg and Trade Web to communicate, detecting where markets are traded and ensuring traders' prices are in line with live markets.
Utilize MS PowerPoint to make internal documents for rates market updates.
Utilize MS Excel including VBA to process market data for analysis and quicken internal and external email distributions.
Utilize experience in key investment trends including central banks’ policy, indexing, volatility, risk control and bond liquidity.
Perform derivatives pricing capabilities for interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Studies or related; and
2 years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.
Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Conducting sales of financial products and services directly to Japanese clients;
Using Bloomberg and Trade Web to communicate, detecting where markets are traded and ensuring traders' prices are in line with live markets;
Utilizing MS PowerPoint to make internal documents for rates market updates;
Utilizing MS Excel including VBA to process market data for analysis and quicken internal and external email distributions;
Utilizing experience in key investment trends including central banks’ policy, indexing, volatility, risk control and bond liquidity; and,
Performing derivatives pricing capabilities for interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps.
10% domestic and international travel required, as necessary.
