Job Description:

This role is responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the research and execution of complex transactions for a single site / business unit or smaller business unit(s). Key responsibilities of the role include strategically advising upon the design, development and implementation of products, systems and services using discretion within the project management methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Advises on the design, development and implementation of complex products, systems and services in an operations environment using discretionary judgment.
  • Advises on projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives
  • Advises as technical expert in assigned area, providing in-depth understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function
  • Consults on present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation by creating clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control
  • Identifies and recommends responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/projects

  • 3-5 Years of experience and/or knowledge of General Accounting and General Ledger activity

Line of Business Specific Description:

Operations Consultant to join the Equipment Finance and Leasing Operations team.  The team is responsible for a number of processes including:  Financial Booking, GL reconciliations, outgoing payments to 3rd party, Payoff requests, and System maintenance.

Responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s), including research. Leads in the design, development and implementation of complex products, systems and services in an operations environment.  Functions as the technical expert in their assigned area. Major accountabilities are based on individual expertise and capabilities. Builds strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs. Has in-depth understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work. 

Responsibilities:

  • Review of lease/loan documentation and pricing files to set-up account on system of record.
  • Process outgoing wires to 3rd party investors.
  • Perform GL reconciliations.
  • Process termination of accounts from system of record.
  • Perform maintenance on current portfolio, as needed.
  • Accurately calculate book balances and provide to the line of business when requested.  
  • Responsible for providing a consistent high level of service to customers in a timely manner.
  • Perform assigned tasks quickly and efficiently, responding to requests for information, communicating issues to appropriate parties, and ensuring that responses to customers are prompt, professional and courteous.

Rhode Island pay range:

$56,600 - $93,900 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
