Retirement & Benefits Institutional Client Relationship Exec

Job Description:

Lead a team of professionals focused on delivering service to Institutional Retirement clients.  Determine all requirements needed to deploy, achieve maximum service, and ensure highly satisfied clients. Coach and communicate a compelling and ongoing vision of outstanding client service and lead the team in all areas of program delivery, client retention, and client satisfaction. Partner closely with key stakeholders to include Regional Banking lines of business and Wealth Management.  Work with Global Compliance and Operational Risk partners to consistently evaluate client and business risk. Provide guidance, feedback, evaluation, and ongoing developmental mentoring.  

Required Skills:

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of registered professionals providing service and support to key clients.

  • Oversee day-to-day functions and processes to foster an environment that promotes service excellence to customers

  • Actively monitor and manage the capacity of the team

  • Manage the onboarding of new talent and ensure that training curriculum is available and completed

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Collaborate with Supervision to develop an oversight process for the day-to-day functions of the team

  • Partner with key stakeholders with a focus on ensuring service excellence is provided to clients

  • Triage any client escalations in a timely manner and ensure open and transparent communication with clients

  • Executes the bank’s risk culture and strives for operational excellence

  • FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66. Series 24 preferred

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of the retirement plan business and / or the investment advisory business strongly preferred

  • Ability to identify proactively identify client needs and articulate approach to align solutions to meeting their goals in a suitable way

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to arrive at recommendations

  • Proactively share strategic ideas and opportunities for improvement

  • Strong investment acumen

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Results oriented
