Role Description:

Due to an increase in trade volumes, we are looking for a Derivatives and Confirmations professional to join our team in Chester! We are a global team, spread across multiple time zones, who focus on timely issuance and execution of trade confirmations across Fixed Income and Equity products for the Global Markets business.

Responsibilities:

  • You will ensure client queries are answered in a timely manner.
  • You will be coordinating with global teams on escalations to ensure risk is mitigated.
  • You will be actively involved with our Change team to drive forward process enhancement initiatives.
  • You will liaise with Technology and support teams in response to incidents and quality assurance.
  • You will have effective assessments and interpretations of industry led changes that will impact the Confirmations process.                                        
  • You will liaise with our risk and compliance partners.

What we are looking for:

  • You will have previous Derivatives Operations and/or Confirmations experience.
  • You will be able to manage stakeholders up to executive level.
  • You will have attention to detail.
  • You will have the mindset to challenge and improve current processes.

Skills that will help (optional):

  • Banking Experience will be a plus
  • Working in a team-based environment will be an advantage
  • Effectively organising and prioritising large workloads in a time sensitive environment will be a plus
