Role Description:

This role is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work in a dynamic team as part of the Debt Trades Processing and Settlement Group. The team provides support to various Fixed Income Trading Desks who trade across global markets for EMEA based clients. In this position you will be a point of contact for all trade allocation, confirmation, and settlement related queries. You will be on hand to offer premium client service and deal with all client queries and manage the relationships between our clients and internal departments.


Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the booking of trade allocations and monitoring client confirmation
  • You will provide support for the London Sales Desk
  • You will respond to client queries regarding the settlement of their trades
  • You will establish good working relationships internally with the front office, sales teams, middle and back-office teams to ensure timely resolution of client allocation/fails
  • You will resolve economic discrepancies to eliminate market risk
  • You will ensure compliance with target control standard
     

What we are looking for:

  • You will be a highly motivated strong self-starter who has the initiative and drive to come into an area and learn quickly
  • You will have the ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards when dealing with tight deadlines and demanding trading desks and clients.
  • You will have client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with clients in a confident manner
  • You will have the ability to build strong relations with internal and external clients to provide top tier client service

Additional Skills:

  • You will have market related experience with knowledge of Fixed Income
  • You will have knowledge of Vendor platforms such as OMGEO CTM and Bloomberg
  • You will have knowledge of the workings of EMEA markets e.g. buy-in risks, settlement fines, market nuance
  • You will have experience working with salespeople / traders.
