Team:
Are you passionate about working with the best information security team in the world? This position will be a member of the GIS Remediation Governance team. The Enhanced Remediation Program is for applicable Priority 2 and Priority 3 remediation efforts that for any given reason cannot be remediated within the defined timelines.
Role Description:
This role is Critical to guide implementation of key technical controls supporting enterprise remediation, including remediation workflow, reporting, exceptions, and consequence/escalation. This role will also be responsible to drive remediation of critical vulnerabilities working with CIO and CTI partners.
Responsibilities:
Daily business operations that include QA of consequence processes, governance reporting and routines to drive down vulnerabilities.
Supporting risk management efforts related to audit, compliance and regulatory activities and reviews, issue management and evidence support
You will have an understanding of technology and the lifecycle of implementation is critical as this role could support tracking requirements, writing stories, testing, etc
You will be a critical thinker able to determine connections, identify trends, evaluate data to find efficiencies.
What we are looking for:
Excellent skills in data management, data analysis, manipulation and creating pivot tables.
Extensive background in working with senior level reports with experience in presentation verbally and in writing.
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and translate cyber security threats from a technical perspective to business-line understanding and execution
Broad technical background related to security technologies, such as Server and workstation Operating Systems, Network Security, Vulnerability Scanning Engines, Vulnerability Management lifecycle, and Compliance Management solutions
Skills that will help (optional):
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
CISSP or equivalent certification
