This position will be responsible for to support Front Office Sales/Trading desks. Responsible for trade capture and resolving trade discrepancies. The role acts as the main contact point for life cycle management and trade related request by internal and external clients, liaises between trading, trade support, sales, counterparties, counterparty credit, operations, and compliance. Participates in the introduction and UAT of new initiatives, systems, and process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance controls. Handles ad hoc requests from clients and desks. Requires product knowledge of financial instruments relevant to the area supported and across related asset classes.
Supports sales and/or trading desks;
Trade capture and trade discrepancy resolution. Expected to conduct BAU trade entry across all products and entities as needed by the business;
Tracks and verifies trades and checks accuracy of processed trades. Ensure trade details are accurately captured in relevant systems;
Liaises between trading, trade support, sales, counterparties, counterparty credit, operations, and compliance;
Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and accurate trade settlements. Manage relationships with counterparties, brokers and other stakeholders involved in the settlement process;
Participates in the introduction and UAT of new initiatives, systems, and process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance controls;
Dynamically prioritizes important tasks in short timeframes to deliver timely and accurate service while maintaining controls and managing risks.
Core skills and requirements:
Knowledge of derivative products including but not limited to Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Credit Default Swaps (CDS), Options, Futures, and FX;
Familiarity with documentation and other requirements (regulatory, credit, AML, static data needs) for trading various FICC products;
Basic understanding of FICC regulatory environment and industry initiatives;
Ability to handle client escalations.
