Role Description:

An opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Agency Management Consultant to join our Agency Management & Banking Loans Operations Team. We are an established team based in our Bromley office, with daily interaction with our front-line partners (Enterprise Credit, Leasing, Leverage Finance and Syndications desks) as well as our Booking, Servicing & Operations teammates.

The team is core to our product offering as a Company and is an integral part of the global Syndicated & Corporate Lending Operations for the Bank.

The Agency Management Team is responsible for coordinating all agency-related activities from inception to delivery across the entire portfolio. They act both as Facility and Security Agent spanning all deals where Bank of America entity is either the main Facility Agent or a Sub Agent.

The team scope cuts across both syndication, export credit finance and leasing deals.

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage your own portfolio of senior agency deals
  • You will support the Regional Ops Head and your team lead as one of the Senior people on the team
  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex transactions incl. new deal execution, amendment, refinancing, financials
  • You will review all credit agreements where we are the agent, in line with the Bank risk appetite and Loan Market Association agency provisions, being empowered to negotiate with our legal and front-line partners to provide optimal solutions for clients and the firm
  • You will have access to key leaders across the enterprise and industry
  • You will be the first point of contact for clients of the business and the lenders part of the syndication

What we are looking for:

  • You will have experience in managing your own portfolio/project driving independently to delivery as well as part of a team
  • You will have previous agency management, paralegal and/or loan document experience
  • You will have experience liaising with internal partners up to executive level

Skills that will help:

  • Prior experience with leasing and/or export credit agency documentation would be an advantage
