Job Description:
Bank of America is committed to ensuring fair and consistent treatment for Consumer and Small Business remediation efforts. To drive enterprise wide consistency & accuracy, the Remediation team provides ‘in house’ remediation for impacts to Bank of America (the Bank)’s customers. Remediation consists of dedicated resources with expertise to manage the end-to-end execution of ongoing and one-time remediation efforts.
The Remediation Team performs customer remediation for the following products:
The primary function of this role will be developing code and providing oversight to automated queries within the team. A strong knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide application is required. This role will need to perform analysis including development, testing and implementation of SQL / SAS code at a more complex level to identify transactions and account updates meeting the Remediation effort (defect / audit issue) for products supported by the team. Utilizes established databases including, but not limited to Teradata, W, Hadoop, and Python. Must also demonstrate strong experience with MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion and independent judgment.

Responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling for multiple products with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth and minimizing risk and operating losses and/or other financial and marketing exposures. Develops complex program models to extract data and uses multiple databases to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilizes portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results. Excels at risk/reward trade off. Build relationships with external agencies. Participates in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. SAS and/or MicroStrategy experience preferred; 2-5 years' experience preferred.
