Consumer Investments Online Conversion Text / Chat Specialist

Job Description:

The Consumer Investments Online Conversion Text / Chat Specialist works with prospects who navigate to the Merrill unauthenticated site and would like information about becoming a Merrill client via online text chat messages. Assists prospects with selecting and completing an online account application that best fits their needs through seamless delivery of general investment, retirement, and product information.

The Consumer Investments Online Conversion Text/Chat Specialist’s primary job functions include, but are not limited to:

  •  Providing detailed information about Merrill pricing and products
  •  Assisting prospects with completing and submitting the online new account application
  •  Educating prospects and existing clients on retirement account rules and rollover options
  •  Providing prospects and existing clients with information about how to transfer cash and/or assets to their account(s)
  •  Processing pending applications sent to a dedicated inbox
  •  Referring prospects and new clients to an Financial Solutions Advisor to assist with additional financial needs

  • S7/S66 Licensing
  • Prior sales experience
  • General knowledge of investments and retirement accounts

Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM (Arizona time) 

This role requires "in office" work (Chandler, AZ) and is not a remote work environment.

Enterprise Job Description:

Handles more complex escalated customer calls in order to resolve in the most satisfactory manner for all parties concerned. Call s are non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, scripts and procedures. May respond to faxes and emails. Requires extensive knowledge of the organization, products and/or services. Possesses high level of technical skills. May require advanced problem solving skills and involve cross selling or up selling other financial products. Typically requires 1 to 3 years of customer services experience.
