Wealth Management Deposits and Cash Management Pricing Manager

Job Description:

The Wealth Management Deposits and Cash Management Pricing Manager is responsible for developing Pricing Strategy, Tactics and rate setting for deposit products including Money Market Savings, Sweeps, Custody and Fiduciary Products, and other proprietary cash management products. You will also be involved in contributing to product strategy and enterprise deepening strategies as they incorporate pricing.

Deliver maximum Net Interest Income to the P&L while maintaining corporate objectives and targets such as liquidity, in the form of deposit balances.

Pricing strategy role will include heavy analysis of competitive rates and BAC rate position, price and customer elasticity, sales and marketing effectiveness and efficiency, distribution network, inflows and outflows, regulatory understanding, and feedback from advisors and leadership as a feedback loop on pricing impact, pricing and performance.

There is a close partnership with product managers, finance, balance sheet management/treasury  and risk and compliance to communicate rate strategy and actions on an ongoing basis.

Team member will also be responsible for daily monitoring of market rates (Libor/SWAPs/Treasuries), competitor deposit rates, and performance against forecasts and internal targets.

Reporting, monitoring, performance and utilization of Opportunity Pricing will be a function of the role.

Ability to successfully and thoughtfully run scenarios on pricing elasticity and optimization model and leverage for optimal balances and revenue.

Utilizes portfolio trends to propose rate strategy, policy or process changes to produce optimal results. Team member will excel at risk/reward trade off and making decisions based on a combination of data and client behavior.

Other responsibilities likely include Marketing and Pricing integration, Quarterly Earnings analysis, liaison with the analytics and modeling team and industry forecasting

Ability to develop a cohesive and concise story and present it both in presentation format and verbally

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

5+ years experience with analytics experience and strong proficiency

Ability to think strategically and tactically to drive product success

•Ability to form strong partnerships with key stakeholders in other areas and work with them on initiatives; hold accountable when needed

• Detail oriented, self-starter, takes initiative, independent worker, surfaces and escalates issues or concerns effectively

•Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to confidently present to senior leaders

•Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others to drive execution or approval of strategic recommendations 

•Ability to analyze product trends and understand the financials of the business

* Ability to work with large amounts of data

* Strong excel experience is necessary at a minimum

* Strong problem solving skills
