Bank of America Merchant Services is building an integrated acquiring payments platform and is seeking an experienced Payment Network (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa) professional to execute an oversight controls program for Payment Network Third Parties (Payment Facilitators, Independent Sales Organizations, Marketplaces, Merchant contracted Third Parties). The Alternative Channels Controls Analyst will be a subject matter expert that helps manage the execution of Due Diligence / Annual Assessments and the execution of ongoing oversight controls.

This role will also be accountable for managing the development and execution of governance routines and reporting to evidence compliance with Bank of America’s control environment for Payment Network specific Third-Party entity types. This include facilitating performance metric calculation and reporting and development of governance reports as well as facilitation of Governance meetings.

Associates in this role must be proactive and able to engage team members and cross-functional stakeholders to drive the completion of assigned functions and escalate any identified issues.

• Complete second reviews on all new and annual merchant and Bank contracted Third Parties to drive compliance with Payment Network compliance requirements

• Provide backup support for completion of merchant contracted Third Party registration and oversight requirements as specified by each applicable Payment Network

• Support the execution of FLU oversight controls for Payment Facilitators, Independent Sales Organizations and Marketplaces

• Lead reporting of performance metrics

 • Support the Due Diligence and Annual Assessment Engagement scheduling and documentation collection processes for Payment Facilitator, Independent Sales Organization and Marketplaces

• Facilitate the compilation of governance routine meeting materials and reporting

• Assist in the development of client facing and internal educational materials and presentations

 • Support the proactive assessment of and documentation of Bank of America’s compliance with Payment Network acquirer specific requirements

• Complete all additional special / project related assignments as required

Required Skills: “Must” have these skills to be minimally qualified.

• Demonstrated experience with the execution of controls and control monitoring

• Prior work experience leading the planning and execution of Third-Party Due Diligence and Annual Assessments

 • 5+ years Payment Network industry experience with the oversight of Third Parties such as Payment Facilitators, Independent Sales organizations, Marketplaces, and merchant contracted entities such as Gateways

• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 • End-to-end ownership of assigned tasks

• Attention to detail, combined with excellent organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting business priorities while meeting assignment due dates
