Execution Consultant, VP - Global Equities Execution Services

Job Description:

The Execution Consulting team partner with clients, traders, and strats to design, build, and analyse data-driven trading and analytical solutions. The ideal candidate has a data, analytics, and technology skill-set with a passion for applying this to identify, optimise, and solve trading challenges through use of improved data analytics, tooling, and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Multi-benchmark transaction cost analysis of trading flows - Work with clients/traders through regular reviews and updates to understand and improve trading outcomes

• Design, pitch, and measure customised algorithmic solutions and experiments to solve client and internal trading challenges based upon in-depth analysis

• Microstructure and trading research – provide thought provoking research to understand liquidity/price action and drive product development and client engagement

• Generate and provide actionable insights to clients on flow, microstructure, and market structure trends

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative field: Math, Computer Science, Physics, Economics

• Strong programming experience, covering one or more of: KDB+/Q, SQL, Python, R

• Experience building effective data visualisations/dashboards, with one or more of: Tableau, Panopticon, HTML5/JS, or equivalents

• Data science/analytical/statistics skill-set with practical experience analysing and understanding large data sets

• Strong communication skills including creating/presenting analytical data.

• Experience in a client facing position, demonstrating the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex concepts to senior individuals

• Experience handling many concurrent projects in a timely fashion both individually and as part of a team

• Knowledge of trading and analysis of Equities

• Attention to detail and creativity
