Cons Prod Strategic Analyst III

Job Description:

US Card Fee & Interest refund strategy team is responsible for decisioning ~2.2MM client refund requests annually.  This analyst position is responsible for monitoring and controls of channel partners' consistent execution of the fee/interest strategy.  Core responsibilities include:

  • Leverages data and analytics to identify key drivers of changes in front line unit's (FLU) performance
  • Leads performance management routines across all FLUs to highlight and address performance opportunities
  • Leads targeted call listening routines with FLUs to identify strategy and performance execution opportunities
  • Partners with FLUs on outlier management monitoring and coaching
  • Monitors FLU's quality testing (QA) results to identify emerging risks
  • Functions as a liaison with the channel to answer strategy questions and investigate escalations
  • Monitors FLU monetary adjustments performed outside of the refund tool to identify potential tool onboarding or outlier management opportunities
  • Works across products (especially Deposits) to ensure consistency in refund experience and controls, where possible
  • Keeps up to date on both refund and channel strategy changes to prevent misalignment

  • Self-starter.  The ability to work independently and not wait for their manager to guide every step.
  • Process and Procedure Management.  Must be able to connect strategy decision impacts to the CRT user and client experiences.
  • Organized. Requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and timeline management.
  • Skilled in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • SQL experience

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Credit Card business
  • Experience with Synergy Web/TSYS
  • Experience with BACARDI database
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business or Engineering
  • 5-years of service in the Financial Industry
