Job Description:

Job Title: Operations Analyst

Corporate Title: Officer

Location: Bromley

Role Description:

  • The team are responsible for performing reconciliations of currency positions across 32 currencies on 10 branches; to ensure anomalies are identified and rectified to avoid exposure to the Bank owing to FX & Money transactions

  • Liaise with Traders and Internal Business Partners including Global Money Desk, Investigations, Loans and Finance

  • Input adjustments to Traders Positions where applicable

  • Identify, Investigate, escalate, and manage breaks through to resolution

The Team:

Working as part of a Global team with resources based in both Bromley UK & India; 3 resources in UK and 6 based in India. The team are looking for a conscientious and hardworking individual to join the Position Control team; this is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain a solid understanding of the foundations of Global Payment Operations and the Position Control function.

Core Skills:

  • Knowledge of GBS system

  • Knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook

  • Understanding / experience in reconciliations processes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Team player attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment

  • Ability to prioritize, use own initiative and be flexible

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills required

  • Able to work as part of a team both onshore and offshore
