Metrics / Reporting Coordinator

Job Description:

Position Summary:
As part of Global Technology Chief Operating Office, the Global Technology Resiliency & Business Continuity (GRBC) team drives consistent, end to end unified business processes across Global Technology for resiliency and business continuity. The GRBC team directly impacts the firm’s ability to achieve and sustain technology resiliency and recovery across GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY ensuring effective coordination of testing, exercise, and live events. In partnership with the Enterprise Global Operational Continuity & Resiliency (GOC&R) team, GRBC performs standard functions to develop plans, tests, and responses in preparation for an actual technical disruption event. 

The Metrics & Reporting Consultant will support these efforts with reporting and data analytics skills which may include report development/automation, process enhancements and subject matter expertise.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Report development with BI tools such as Tableau & Alteryx.
  • Development of complex calculated fields, joins/blends of multiple data sources, etc.
  • Sourcing of data with TOAD/SQL/MicroStrategy/etc.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint tools such as Lists/Workflows.
  • Responsible for administrative functions to support Tableau reporting process such as permissions management, report refreshing & publication.
  • Accountable for the creation and development of technology solutions appropriate to technical resiliency needs and objectives, and oversees implementation of programs, projects or processes.
  • The role requires strong technical skills and ability to provide technical leadership as a proactive and strategic business partner in the development of functional or cross-functional objectives, technology solutions and innovative strategies

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • 1 – 3 years of technology/BI experience.
  • Experience with creation and implementation of new reporting routines and business processes.
  • Experience working with application and database changes, business requirements documentation and understanding of processes and controls 
  • Ability to define and operationalize key responsibilities
