As a member of BofA GTS Analytics Team for the Analytical/AI program within Global Treasury Services.  The scope of projects include Descriptive, Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics. Build models, solutions and infrastructure to support modeling and analyzing loan data for Wholesale Credit Business lines.  Develop value-added analytics solutions that support revenue generation, business insight, risk management, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, loan pricing, pre and post-sale loan facility research. These solutions must overcome issues of complex data (e.g., VLDB, multi-structured, "big data", etc.) as well as deployment of advanced techniques (e.g., machine learning, text mining, statistical analysis, etc.) to deliver insights. Adopt Global Banking & Markets and Enterprise Level teams to determine the best practices in the firm and contribute to improving proficiency in these areas for GTS, and the firm more generally. Work with the Analytics SWAT Team during project intake and present new technologies that relate to solutions for high ROI applications of analytics. Manage and code on projects. Advanced degree in related field preferred or substantial equivalent experience. Typically requires a minimum of 3-5+ years as a practitioner of machine learning in Financial Markets or large industry.
 

  • Data Analytical skills using Python, Tableau or other tools, the ability to do predictive and descriptive analytics from mining the data
  • Nice to have Platform or custom analytics package solutions expertise such as C3, Cognos, Microstrategy etc
  • Enable the use of end-to-end machine learning data in a distributed system for analytical capabilities.
  • Work with other platform engineering teams to enable streaming, batch, or ad-hoc data analysis.
  • Collaborate with and support data scientists to understand the utility of Analytics in the use case and define new requirements.
  • Define and lead the development of longer-term Analytical use cases and Platform capabilities.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.
  • Feature Engineering, Data cleaning, Data Gathering, Machine Learning, Deep Learning.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in computer science, math, statistics or similar field.
  • Excellent programming and algorithmic skills and a taste for DRY code.
  • Understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms and how the analytics are presented from AI/ML
  • Proven track record of applying learning algorithms in a production system.
  • Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, databases such as Oracle, NoSQL databases and web technologies such as HTML/ JavaScript, Web presentation, REACT/JS is a plus
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of projects.
  • Stellar listening and explanation skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of data structures, algorithms, profiling/optimization, and Object-Oriented and Functional Programming.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of work experience in a fast-paced software or financial company

Jersey City pay and benefits information

Jersey City pay range:

$90,500 - $160,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
