Software Engineer III

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for leading developments, complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. This role ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. These individuals possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. The role requires researching new tools and technologies to keep our software development ecosystem cutting edge by embracing modern development methods. This position requires the candidate to work closely with Business and System Analyst team to understand the system requirements and translate them into low-level design and implement the application code as per the standard coding pattern and guidelines. The candidate is also required to unit test the code and package the code for deployment to higher lanes all up to Production environment. The candidate will be responsible to work with quality assurance and product certification teams to provide support and fixes identified during the lifecycle of application testing and certification.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Full Stack JAVA developer with experience in Core Java, developing JEE Applications, Spring and REST Web Services
  • Experience with IDE like Eclipse or NetBeans or IntelliJ
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Hands-on JAVA, SQL
  • Working Knowledge in In-memory cache management( REDIS)
  • Experience in DEVOPS, Cloud(Azure/AWS) Cloud Migration and Microservices is a huge plus.
  • Working Knowledge in Agile methodologies
  • 7-10 years of experience

Jersey City pay and benefits information

Jersey City pay range:

$90,500 - $160,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
