  • Part of Bank of America Europe DAC Paris branch, the Banking operations are in charge of client’s accounts management, domestic payments through the following systems ( Sage, Capital Image cheques software used for cheques & LCR ) in application and in compliance of local rules and bank procedures, Non Financial Regulatory Reporting, and process of the invoices.

Tasks & responsibilities :

  • Clients’ accounts management including :
  • Local administration of clients’ accounts opening/closing/maintenance
  • Recapitalization/Incorporation
  • Seizures
  • Contacts with clients and Clients Servicing if required
  • SME on the local requirements
  • Checks : Echange Images Chèques ( EIC )
  • Processing, inclearing, outclearing, reconciliation
  • Unpaids
  • Verification of physical cheques
  • Bill of Exchange - LCR : rules and processing
  • File inclearing integration
  • BAP ( Bon A Payer).
  • rejected LCR/unpaid items
  • reconciliation & controls
  • Non Financial Regulatory Reporting
  • Process and Project coverage within EMEA NFRR (Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting)
  • Covering EMEA NFRR governance by administering defined procedures, analysis and report generation, together with exception processing.
  • Providing guidance to associates within own unit regarding procedural, technical and/or operational changes.

The Team:

Part of Bank of America Europe DAC Paris branch, the Banking operations are in charge of client’s accounts management, domestic payments through the following systems ( Sage, Capital Image cheques software used for cheques & LCR ) in application and in compliance of local rules and bank procedures, Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting, and process of the invoices

Core Skills:

  • Previous banking experience in back office or middle office environment would be a preference
  • Accounts: knowledge of the French requirements and experience with seizures process would be a second preference
  • Use/knowledge of MS office suite proficiency including Excel & Word
  • Team spirit and flexibility
  • Demonstrable high level of attention to the details
  • Ability to write procedures
  • Some legal background would be preferential in order to be able to understand regulatory requirements
  • Business fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential. Knowledge of other European languages would be an additional advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Office package including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
