GWIM Sr Operations Analyst - Support Alternative Investments and Global Trading

Enterprise Overview:

Provides technical and analytical support in a GWIM operations function for one or more product areas such as funds transfer, collateral mgt/margins, corporate actions, static data/data management, control, trader support, clearance/settlement, documentation/confirmations, customer service, new accounts, client valuations, document processing or statement/billing processing. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and working with multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May participate in projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes. As a technical expert, acts as a unit advisor providing technical support to less experienced associates. This role typically requires 3+ years experience in operations functions and a thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products

LOB Description:

Alternative Investments is constantly evolving and changing environment, it is essential that the successful candidate be able to react and accommodate changes as they occur. The Alternative Investment Trading and Operations Team supports all aspects of Client activity including Document Review, Client transfers, Trade Reporting and Execution.  The initial role will be in reviewing documents to ensure completeness and associated statistical reporting.  In the  long term the team supports a cross training initiative that will encourage the successful candidate to become and Subject matter Expert across all AI Functions.  As part of the leadership team opinions are sought and the candidate should be able to articulate these in various meetings. The team analysts also play key roles in projects and should be able to take a leadership role in working with counterparts in technology and the AI Product team.

 

The candidate should be open to learning new processes have a willingness to suggest improvements and be adaptable to adjust as processes change and evolve.

• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate information to a wide variety of personnel in a clear, concise and well-organized manner
• Ability to multitask and work under tight time constraints

Required Skills:

  • Competent in both Excel, Word and Outlook – beyond basic knowledge – ability to demonstrate proficiency in more complex aspects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication – Experience in working with peers and managers
  • Experience in owning a process and demonstrating responsibility for that process

  • Knowledge of AI Products
  • Series 7 License
