HR Analytics & Data Governance Consultant I – GHR Client Groups

The Workforce Analytics, Reporting and Data Governance team (WARDG) is part of the Global Human Resources (GHR) organization. The primary focus of our team is to deliver workforce reporting and analytic solutions through advanced consultation in addition to ensuring strong data governance across GHR of worker data per Enterprise standards.

The HR Analytics & Reporting Client Consultant I will be aligned to GHR line of business client groups and will support evolving business reporting needs.  Accountable for engagement, adoption, satisfaction and delivery of the reporting and analytics products & services for their client group, while ensuring rigorous governance around HR data. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to support strategic analysis and data requests
  • Support creation, enhancements and maintenance of Alteryx flows and Tableau dashboards
  • Create high-impact presentations and analysis
  • Management, creation, and enhancement of standard reporting deliverables
  • Ad hoc requests

Enterprise Role Overview

Working closely with HR Analytics & Data Governance managers to develop, implement, and maintain reporting, analytics and data governance capabilities & processes to meet evolving demands beyond standard product offerings.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 3+ years of HR or relatable reporting analyst experience
  • Experience in data preparation & data blending for automation
  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint) required; must have strong MS EXCEL skills (familiar with formulas, complex pivot tables, data manipulation, filtering, lookups)
  • Working experience with data visualization tools/technology such as Tableau, MicroStrategy & Alteryx
  • Performance consulting skills including the ability to identify performance gaps by asking the right questions
  • MUST be comfortable with technology/system solutions
  • MUST have strong data orientation and analytic skills, demonstrating strong, basic statistical skills, as well as the ability to apply a combination of inductive and deductive reasoning to examine information, interpret results and arrive at well founded, logical conclusions
  • MUST have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelors’ Degree is preferred; will consider strong experience in lieu of degree

In addition, individual must demonstrate leadership Competencies

  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to roll up sleeves, run reports, review data, make recommendations around more efficient processes/procedure, etc.
  • Drive for execution with strong attention to detail; delivers polished work product with high quality in a timely manner – flawless execution is non-negotiable. All data needs to be accurate.
  • Curiosity; Constantly looks for learning opportunities in order to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Relationship management skills including the ability to interact, communicate and influence peers and partners.
  • Process orientation– someone who is capable of thinking about processes end to end and considering pitfalls, barriers and opportunities along the way
  • Takes initiative and is a self-starter
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/stakeholders

Desired Skills

-Programming knowledge (VBA, Python, Java)

-Intermediate SQL skills

-Experience using SharePoint for databases or document storage
