Job Title: Software Engineer III

Corporate Title: Vice President

Role Description:

Java developer for Equities OMS team. Responsibilities include building out and supporting the Equities Derivatives OMS. Several years’ work experience.

The candidate will be joining the Order Management Systems team within Equities IT Technology. He or she will be working on the low latency OMS application platforms

that support High and Low Touch flows. Equities OMS team has its own proprietary framework for building trading applications in Java and C#.

The person will be involved in developing and maintaining the OMS for the use with whole Equities Trading Technology.

The Team:

Equities Derivatives OMS is a global team focusing on the Derivatives aspect of the OMS/EMS functions.

Core Skills:

Java knowledge in Linux environment

a.     Knowledge of multi-core / multi-threading concepts

b.     C# Win Forms

c.     Messaging, TCP/IP, UDP etc.

Agile Experience and Mindset - testing and design skills

Communication skills

No prior business knowledge is required, although experience on following is a good to have

a.     Electronic Trading

b.     Fix protocol
