Operations Team Manager

Job Description:

The Operations Team Manager role within Asset Transition Services (ATS) is responsible for managing the movement of assets between Merrill and other outside brokerage firms, and well as other miscellaneous processes associated with these asset movements. This role monitors volumes to help manage the day to day business accordingly, assists the team with elevated transfer issues, ensures the effectiveness of quality assurance and control activities, and manages performance for the team. It is essential in this position to ensure that Branch Office and client satisfaction is maintained.  Additionally, this role has relationship management responsibility for partnership with ATS ML Service Network, Private Bank, Consumer Investments, and other areas both within and outside of Wealth Management Operations.

Requirements:

  • -Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • -Flexibility to work in an evolving environment as automation of processes and reorganization of process flows are implemented to achieve efficiencies.   
  • - Self-motivated with the ability to coach/motivate others
  • - Professionalism
  • -Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • - Organizational and well-developed analytical skills  
  • - Excellent interpersonal/leadership and oral/written communication skills
  • - 3-5 years Financial Operations experience
  • - Account transfer knowledge/experience
