The ESG Capital Markets (ESG CM) team is a front line, client-facing team housed within the ESG Advisory and Financing Solutions team, and are the experts on ESG-focused investors within Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB). The ESG CM team leverages this expertise to help issuers maximize receptivity to their capital markets transactions within the ESG investor base. Our fixed income work includes structuring ESG-labeled capital raises such as Green Bonds and Sustainability-Linked Bonds, while our equity work includes ESG-focused positioning and optimization of ESG-oriented disclosure and IR materials in IPOs. We work closely with industry partners in Corporate and Investment Banking as well as Debt and Equity Capital Markets to deliver strategic advice to clients across the Americas.
ESG Advisory and Financing Solutions (the organization to which ESG CM reports) is a newly created organization within GCIB. This group will house ESG expertise within GCIB and collaborate with our Product and Industry coverage partners to help determine how ESG impacts our clients' cost of capital and strategic initiatives, while also advising on and structuring transactions to meet clients' ESG goals. Our aim is to provide highest quality advice on all ESG matters, informed by in-depth knowledge of markets, investor preferences, and regulatory requirements. Everything we do will be guided by a goal to support our clients in their transition to a low carbon economy and desire have a positive social impact.
Global Corporate & Investment Banking (the line of business to which ESG Advisory & Financing Solutions reports) focuses on building long-term relationships with more than 3,000 large U.S. and multinational corporations, financial institutions and financial sponsors. GCIB provides strong advisory expertise, capitalizing on powerful mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets, corporate banking, and treasury product expertise to deliver integrated financial solutions.

The ESG Capital Markets Associate role is client-facing and will initially focus on coverage of Fixed Income products including High Grade Bonds and Leverage Finance. The Associate will report to the head of ESG Capital Markets, Americas, and is expected to have future rotations focused on ESG Equity Capital Markets.
