Consumer Consultant/Project Manager

Job Description:

The Community Banking and Consumer Governance Business Enablement team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team as a Program Manager. In support of Retail Banking organization objectives, this position will be responsible for helping drive the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of initiatives comprised of technical and non-technical scope and workstreams.  This person will serve as a primary contact to senior leaders for critical change initiatives within the portfolio. 

This role requires an experienced leader with strong project manager experience.  Candidate must be analytical, and have the ability to organize and synthesize information and professionally partner with stakeholders across the bank. 

Key responsibilities

  • Serves as primary contact to Program manager for critical change initiatives
  • Lead initiative routines, clearly communicate status, drive progress, and effectively manage risk
  • Lead comprehensive planning, implementation and adoption across the line of business and other key partner organizations
  • Organize and advance the program, ensuring everything is on time, in scope and on budget
  • Develop project plans and track progress for assigned work streams
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders
  • Document and manage dependencies across initiatives
  • Define and roll out communications and training plans
  • Identify, track, escalate and resolve issues and risks related to the initiative
  • Identify gaps and work with teams to produce relevant outcomes/solutions
  • Ensure project management best practices are followed; proper documentation of business requirements, process flows, design and other business analysis deliverables; adherence to Enterprise Change

Desired Experience:

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Visio, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to organize and synthesize information
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills; ability to partner with stakeholders across the bank and influence vertically and laterally
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into milestones and tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable - able to effectively shift priorities as needed
  • Working knowledge of Consumer business and products
  • Organizationally savvy – able to work across organizational lines to gain consensus and buy-in from senior stakeholders, leveraging existing relationships to influence outcomes and drive decisions
  • Execution-oriented, highly organized and motivated self-starter who can execute with speed to deliver results with minimal direction
  • Experience balancing multiple and competing priorities in an extremely fast paced and demanding environment
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
