Talent Management Consultant II – Private Bank

Job Description:

The Talent Management team supporting the Private Bank is looking for a Client Manager to consult, advise and deliver on key leadership, organizational effectiveness, and talent management solutions covering a Private Bank client group. Key areas of focus include: Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organizational Effectiveness and Performance Management.  Our Talent Consultants align to senior level executives and are responsible for ensuring achievement of key business outcomes through the utilization of impactful consultation and organizational development skills. Successful candidates will be influential, results-oriented professionals who can develop and manage relationships across the company and with a wide variety of partners based on trust, knowledge and teamwork.

  • Develop and deploy core talent practices working closely with LOB leaders and HR colleagues. This includes talent planning, succession planning, performance management, and development program talent identification
  • Partner with business and HR to deliver talent management strategies that ensure strong succession and a bench of talented future leaders, including diversity strategy development.
  • Support the development and execution of manager and talent development initiatives aligned to the organization’s diversity, inclusion, and engagement objectives
  • Partnering with the Academy, support the end-to-end learning strategy for client organizations,
  • Consult with leaders on organizational change including assessing operating model and org design effectiveness, preparing org design proposals and communication plans
  • Provide executive coaching to key leaders in the line of business
  • Serve in an advisory role for business critical work streams, working with HR to consult on horizontal initiatives
  • Develop new and enhance existing talent processes to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and simplified solutions

Required Skills:

Minimum of 5-7+ years’ experience in any of the following:

  • Learning or Program Development/Program Management
  • Leadership development & talent management (including coaching)
  • Organization Development, Change and/or Organization Design
  • Relevant HR specialist experience leading programs, processes or other talent practices
  • Relationship management skills with ability to consult, advise, and influence senior leaders
  • Experience interfacing with senior leaders at the LOB executive level who are seasoned and sophisticated leaders
  • Demonstrated conceptual thinker with effective program and project management skills and experience, including ability to translate strategy into specific goals, tactics and deliverables
  • Sound judgment and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to build and leverage positive relationships with peers, partners, and clients
  • Able to operate in an ambiguous environment or an environment where priorities may change quickly
  • Strong bias for action and ability to drive work to completion
  • Technical proficiency in PPT and Excel; OrgVue a plus

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with complex organizational design and development and necessary change management strategies to support business leaders
  • Private Banking or Wealth Management experience

Education:

  • BS/BA, preferably in relevant areas (e.g. Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, etc.); or equivalent work experience
