  • Demonstrated leadership ability and the ability to operate in a matrix-managed environment
  • Strong understanding of IT and facility management concepts to support business and disaster recovery
  • Ability to interpret and deliver business and technical requirements
  • High level of English proficiency

Desired Skills (if any)

  • Financial services industry experience desired
  • Applicants should possess a minimum of a degree and preferably be certified BCM practitioner (minimum 5 years of experience) and some change management / process improvement experience.

What you can expect

The Business Continuity Management (BCM) team is seeking a Business Continuity Management Country Manager to drive and lead the operational resiliency planning testing and response program and project management in-country, in line with regional and global direction. The appointed individual will be part of the APAC BCM team reporting directly to the Asia Pacific BCM Executive in the Global Strategy and Enterprise Platforms Organization. Additionally, the role would be the primary interface point for testing and governance.  The role will have direct and routine interactions with the Country Management Team.

The BCM team oversees and manages Bank of America’s enterprise Business Continuity preparedness & proficiency in withstanding a multitude of the world’s disruptive events. It acts as the advisory & risk control function to ensure all business units are adequately planning and testing their resiliency and recovery capabilities, through Governance of our policies & standards in compliance with applicable Laws, Rules and Regulations. It also facilitates Response to events and incidents that impose significant business continuity risk.

What you will do

  • Assist Lines of Business with their Business Impact Analysis / Business Analysis
  • Implement Business Recovery and Technical Recovery Plans
  • Coordinate testing of Business Recovery Plans
  • Implement and coordinate Recovery sites from BCM perspective
  • Coordinate emergency response processes and exercises and lead execution of those processes during time of event
  • Provide periodic program update to key stakeholders and lines of business coordinators
