Consumer Investments Credit Risk Initiatives Manager

Job Description:

     We are looking for a dynamic, intellectually curious, and self-motivated individual to join our team supporting credit risk mitigation on the Consumer Investments Self-Directed Trading Platform through initiative management on specific complex products such as margin and options. The incumbent candidate will play a critical role in reviewing operational losses to the business and aligns remediation opportunities and action plans for remediation.

     This individual will drive engagement across the business, participate in Regulatory and Internal Audit Assessments, serve as a Margin and Options Subject Matter Expert and work with teams to identify tactical and technology control solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working independently to lead / manage multiple risk projects and priorities at the same time, including design, analysis, deliverables, communications and deployment pertaining to margin and options program.

• Consult with leadership to develop strategic direction and establish implementation plans.

• Represent Consumer Invesments Line of Business in discussions and collaborations with business leaders across the enterprise to implement new and enhanced controls.

• Maintain close partnership with product managers, digital teams and tech teams to drive digital transformation of margin and options offering.

• Evaluate program performance, proactively identify trends for enhancements and design solutions.

• Participates in regulatory and audit inquiries, performing assessments on margin and options.

• Socialize findings and provides status updates to senior and executive leadership team.

• Establish routines with critical stakeholders to drive awareness of all opportunities and hold partners accountable.

Required Skills:

• Advanced understanding and experience with margin and option products (including regulatory and exchange rules).

• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change.

• Effectively navigate complexity, prioritizes tasks, manage capacity, and execute in a fast pace environment.

•  Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward.

• Strong communication skills to communicate project status effectively and clearly at all levels including key stakeholders and executives.

• Highly organized with critical thinking abilities at both the strategic and tactical levels.

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills to tell a succinct executive story.

• Ability to work in a self-directed manner with limited direction and a high level of autonomy.

Desired Skills:

• Series 7, 66 and 9/10 is a plus (not required).

• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of business and functional experience in the following fields: controls, supervision, Front Line Business Units, and Operations.  

• Experience supporting and executing risk control activities.

• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint
