Reporting Analyst III – Production Reporting - MVSO

Plano, Texas;

Job Description:

The role supports the Production Reporting for the Mortgage and Vehicle Servicing Operations (MVSO) organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform more complex analysis and modeling for multiple products with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth and minimizing risk and operating losses and/or other financial and marketing exposures.
  • Utilize portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results.
  • Excel at risk/reward trade off.
  • Build relationships with external agencies.
  • Participate in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models.
  • Regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors.

    Required Skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified.

    • Familiarity with mortgages
    • Strong Analytical Skills (Excel, SQL)
    • Proficient in Excel (Pivot tables, formulas, VLookUp, formatting, etc)
    • Time management skills and ability to work well under tight deadlines
    • Strong organizational, oral & written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with internal & external business partners
    • Ability to work in team environment and independently to troubleshoot issues
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Willingness to improve and/or streamline processes
    • Candidate should exhibit strong personal drive, individual initiative, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness

    Desired Skills:

    • Background in primary servicing including investor reporting and/or default management, FHA/conventional claims
    • Experience with writing SQL queries
    • Knowledge of daily  payoff & liquidation reporting
    • Working knowledge of MSP
    • Toad experience
    • Candidate should exhibit strong personal drive, individual initiative, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness

    Monday – Friday 8a-5p with flexibility for additional time based on business need.
