Job Title: Feature Lead

Role Description:

This role is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team as they deliver technology solutions. 

Key responsibilities of the role include developing solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile practices. 

This role ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes. 

They have built significant experience through multiple software implementations and have developed both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies.

The Team:

The Equity Aggregation Technology Team comprises of a group of Developers, BAs and Testers located across AMRS, EMEA and APAC including London, Dublin, New York and India with a presence in Hong Kong also. The team runs an Agile project consisting of two scrum teams and we use JIRA with a CICD pipeline for deployments. Typically, the work we complete is related to compliance in the Global Markets space related to regulatory disclosures of shareholdings so there will be exposure to the products traded and working with them in the application which can be challenging, complex and rewarding. The team will be looking to enhance the existing applications and take a more strategic view of the technology in use and the application architecture to ensure we have fast, modern and high-quality environment for the future of the applications.

Core Skills:

  • Number of years of hands-on experience and a complete understanding of Visual Studio, C#, and .NET Framework development and a thorough understanding of database structural design, query design, execution plan analysis, and stored procedure development founded in Microsoft SQL Server

•          Number of years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and a demonstrated understanding of database design and query planning & execution

•          Number of years of experience C# expressions (LINQ & Lambda), thread & memory management, asynchronous development patterns, and data serialization/deserialization

•          Number of years of user interface design and development and client-side development technologies

•          Number of years of experience as a team lead with clear recognition as a technical expert by peers, while making architectural and design decisions

•          Number of years of experience with Git and the GitFlow branching strategy and direct, hands-on experience with Bitbucket, Ansible, Artifactory, and Jenkins

•           Direct, hands-on experience with MS SQL Server 2016 or above and SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT)   Updated to reflect technical skillset
