Data Protection - Information Security Engineer

Job Description:

Cyber Security Technology (CST) is a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support.

Support GIS Architecture and Engineering Projects. This position is involved in architecture, engineering and design of solutions associated with Data Loss Prevention and Database Access Management security control infrastructure. This position is crucial to support the EDLP compliance tools and GIS applications. This person will be responsible for forecasting resource needs, timeline/deliverable projection, coordination of effort, project management, creating development requirements/success criteria which will be used by groups to create effective and secure solutions.  Candidate needs to be able to understand macro level requirements and convert them into actionable tasks/deliverables. Candidate should be able to work in teams in a collaborative manner and without supervision.

Required Job Skills:

• 10+ years of experience and expertise in industry standard DBAM/EDLP platforms in Senior Operations, Engineering or Architecture roles.
• Heavy experience in EDLP platforms such as Vontu, Trellix/McAfee, Forcepoint, Guardium, Imperva, StealthAudit
• Deep understanding of EDLP control policy and hierarchy/structures
• Heavily experienced in design, deployment, and architecture of these platforms.
• Self-starters and can operate with a high degree of autonomy requiring limited supervision & direction.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Understanding of regulatory/compliance functions and integration with corporate policies
• Expert in Visio, Word, PowerPoint

Desired Job Skills:

• Certification in Industry standard EDLP platform such as Trellix/McAfee, Forcepoint, Vontu, Guardium, Imperva, StealthAudit.
• Previous experience as a Sr. Security Engineer or Senior Security Architect
• Previous experience as a LINUX Sr. Administrator/Engineer
• Previous experience as a Sr. Windows Administrator/Engineer
• Previous experience as a Sr. Firewall Administrator/Engineer
• Previous experience as a Sr. Database Administrator/Engineer
• SQL coding and query

Enterprise Role Overview:

Key individual contributor, with accountability for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting information security & directory technology systems (software & hardware). Utilizes in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design & implement secure solutions to meet customer / client needs while protecting the Bank's assets. Develops and implements security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environment (e.g. client server, distributed, mainframe, etc.). Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. Typically 5-7 years of IT experience.
