Feature Lead/Engineer - Client Insights

Seeking a strong experienced IT Feature Lead/Engineer professional, who will be responsible for leading and providing technical oversight for multiple teams working on Insights and Personalization at Bank of America in Newark, DE.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical thought leadership based on the significant experience they have built through multiple software implementations and have developed both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies.

• Define, lead and be accountable for the of end-to-end solution design and delivery for highly complex Insights/personalization projects. Efforts deliver significant business outcomes.

• Deliver complex features and technology enablers that improve development efficiencies.

• Provide technical oversight for teams in solution development.

• Ensure that the design and engineering approach for complex features, are consistent with the larger portfolio solution.

• Conduct research, designs prototyping and other exploration activities such as evaluating new toolsets and components for release management, CI/CD, features, etc.

• Help define the technology tool stack for the solution.

• Bachelor’s in IT related field or equivalent experience

• Minimum 5 years of Software Development experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience with the Hadoop/Cloudera ecosystem, such as Spark, MapReduce, Yarn, Hive, Sqoop, Impala, Kafka and Oozie

• Experience with Apache Spark

• Experience with Unix / Linux and shell scripting
