Senior Operations Consultant

Dallas, Texas;

Job Description:

Requires thorough knowledge of bank internal processes, reporting and metrics, including PRC metrics.
Provide metrics oversight and commentary (PRC, Executive and Regulator) as well as production related reporting
Assist with Theme Analysis for Regulatory Complaints Operations

Candidate should have a strong reporting or project management background as well as thorough knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Candidate should be a self-starter with strong work ethic, flexible and have a risk mitigation mindset.
Candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize competing priorities

Responsibilities:

  • Leads in the design, development and implementation of complex products, systems and services in an operations environment.

  • Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives of an operations nature.

  • Functions as the technical expert in their assigned area. Major accountabilities are based on individual expertise and capabilities.

  • Partners on new and complex initiatives.

  • Builds strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs. Has in-depth understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company.

  • Provide metrics oversight and commentary (PRC, Executive and Regulator) as well as production related reporting

  • Assist with Theme Analysis for Regulatory Complaints Operations

  • Requires thorough knowledge of bank internal processes, reporting and metrics, including PRC metrics.

Required Skills:

  2-4 years Operations Management or Project Leadership skills- experience in leading and directing work of others, conducting conference calls, leading meetings, working with various business partners (technology, FLU's, auditors, etc.)

  •  Experience working with metrics (ability to recommend changes, analyze current metrics for efficiency opportunities)

  •  Excellent interpersonal skills is; positive attitude; team player

  •  Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint 

  •  Strong business partnering experience

  •  Ability to communicate across and up the organization

  •  Strong analytical skills

  •  Ability to multitask in fast paced environment

  • Experience working in a complaints environment
