
Job Description:
Enterprise Cost Management (ECoM) provides unique, non-traditional Finance opportunities that support critical Operational Excellence (OpEx) efforts across the firm. ECoM supports their partners in a variety of ways such as:
· Engage as an internal consultant to all enterprise functions, offering professional expertise in the analysis of processes to provide transparency into the work, who performs it, and how much it costs
· Deliver key information that drives efficiencies supporting the Bank’s Responsible Growth Strategy, improves Operating Leverage, and reduces risk
· Enable solutions through standardization, automation and other process improvements including use of Emerging Technologies
· Support strategic initiative investment rationalization through understanding of impacted processes and associated costs of resources consumed
· Lead and engage cross-functional teams to drive OpEx efforts
Required Skills
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and/or equivalent work experience
· Minimum of 5 years of related industry experience with strong, proven financial/data analysis background
· Strong communication skills – both oral and written. Ability to transform both qualitative and quantitative data into a summarized “story” that conveys key points.
· Proven success operating in a collaborative team environment with a culture of shared success
· Comfort operating in a project/consulting capacity characterized by a dynamic work pipeline and needed flexibility in the type of work performed
Desired Skills
· Traditional project and change management including timeline development, progress tracking and risk/issue identification
· Process orientation - experience and comfort analyzing workflows and identifying improvement opportunities
· Proficiency with Bank of America’s financial systems – SAP/eLedger
· Knowledge of emerging technology tools such as Alteryx and Tableau - technical expertise or an understanding of how application of those tools can achieve benefits
