
Job Description:
This role is on the Software License Compliance team and is focused on remediation of license matters and governance, with the goal of identifying, escalating, monitoring, and preventing commercial software risk. The team is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to support commercial software licensing compliance remediation. This role will receive and decision incoming software licensing risks.
The successful candidate will evaluate, escalate, and communicate risk status and investigate root cause as well as develop process improvement/control requirements to prevent future occurrences. This often requires the ability to effectively coordinate across multiple organizations on multiple levels, and engage resources from different teams to support mitigation and long-term resolution. The role will have to produce and provide details of software risk and often debate/escalate commercial software risk.
Required Skills & Abilities:
• 3+ years of risk/controls experience (identification, risk remediation, PRC)
• 5+ years Technology experience
• Software licensing and/or contract management experience
• Advanced communication skills (clear and concise written communications, verbal discussions, and meeting presentations)
• Advanced Excel skills (i.e., comfortable with pivot tables and formulas)
• Executive level PowerPoint presentations
• Inquisitive mind
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Team player - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workload while managing multiple deliverables
Desired Skills & Abilities:
• ITIL Foundations Certification
• Flexnet Management Suite (FNMS), Flexnet Data Platform (Technopedia), BMC Remedy, Microsoft SharePoint, ARIBA, Contracts, eLedger, BMCDiscovery(tool) and TCRS (tool) experience a plus
• Experience setting up and leveraging tools such as Toad to analyze data across systems of record
• Experience with Ariba Contract Workspace and Ariba Procurement a plus
