GWIM Operations Analyst

Job Description:

Retirement Onboarding & Operations (ROO) within Wealth Management Operations (WMO) provides onboarding, plan maintenance and operational support for Institutional and Personal Retirement clients for product lines offered through Retirement and Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS).

The ROO Cashiering Team is responsible for administering deposit and disbursement of plan assets for 401(k), Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation, Defined Benefit, Equity Award Services, & Employee Benefit Trust plans for a large number of employers, including many Fortune 500 companies. The team of 11 associates assist internal partners to help facilitate research and resolution of cash credit and debit breaks, as they occur.

The Operations Analyst will support the operations of the Equity Stock Option Plans by providing efficient, courteous service to our business partner and clients, including our International Operations in Canada, the Call Centers in Hopewell, NJ and Jacksonville, FL, the Equity Operations Team and the Branch Offices servicing Award Choice Stock Option Plans. 

Role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Handling daily inquires and requests ensuring all inquiries and requests are resolved in a timely manner Processing daily cash and securities movement
  • Resolution of complex problems and escalation of client complaints to management
  • Daily Fed Wire Payment processing
  • Daily Review of general ledgers and resolve debit/credit breaks
  • Support research inquiries for various money movement functions, including but not limited to wire traces, wire amendments, and check and wire returns.

Required Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Retirement Operations and 1-2 years accounting experience
  • Strong Risk Management & Risk Mitigation skills
  • Proven ability to work within the risk framework and proactively identify potential risk issues specifically related to procedural, monetary, regulatory, and reputational impacts
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking and accounting principles
  • Acts decisively and with good judgment
  • Must be flexible & adaptable with the ability to multi-task
  • Analytical, detail oriented, motivated and organized
  • Ability to work independently and within a team structure
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment  and meet deadlines
  • Proactively motivated to learn more about the Equity Stock Option Plan Operations
  • Thoughtfully collaborates with operations team members and internal clients to identify and address risk
  • Professional Demeanor: Demonstrating patience, composure, and positive client service attitude
  • Service Aptitude: Comprehend and empathize with client needs, devote time and effort to satisfy client’s requests
  • Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of Retirement Plan products and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
