Sr Credit Reporting Analyst/Programmer

Essential Functions:

The Global Leasing Credit Reporting & Portfolio Analytics team is responsible for supporting the asset quality & regulatory reporting on, and analysis of, the Global Leasing portfolio.  Successful candidate for this position should be analytically and technically adept.  Furthermore, candidate needs to be proficient in programming, specifically for the Tableau, Toad Data Point, and Alteryx reporting applications.

  • Associate will possess strong analytical and technical / computer skills, including high proficiency with Tableau, Toad Data Point, Alteryx, and Excel.  Familiarity with MicroStrategy a plus.  Demonstrated ability to work successfully as part of a team and to communicate across disciplines; and strong time management skills.  Must be highly diligent with a strong attention to detail.

  • Associate may be asked to assist in the preparation of customized analysis, reports or presentation materials for use by senior management, requiring the use of PowerPoint and advanced Excel features including macros, indexing, look-ups, and pivot tables.

  • Associate may also be asked to assist with the planning, testing, implementation, and documentation of IT projects that impact the Leasing Data Store, the multiple Leasing Systems of Record, and the Wholesale Credit & Risk databases; as well as data mining for inquiries from the Audit, Credit Review, and Risk Governance teams.

  • Prior SQL programming experience and working knowledge of applications such as Tableau, Toad Data Point, and Alteryx is preferred.  A background in equipment financing and knowledge of Commercial Leasing systems is a plus.

This position is posted as a Sr Vice President, but is flexible to be filled as a Vice President based upon the skill set/experience of the candidate. 

Preferred Education: 

Bachelor's Degree – preferably in computer science with a business concentration

Preferred Prior Work Experience: 

7 plus years of experience in a data intensive programming role preferably related to financial reporting.

Preferred/Desired Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical skills

  • Superior computer skills, particularly Advanced Excel and database query building skills / SQL programming – prior experience with Tableau, Toad Data Point, Alteryx, or similar is preferred

  • Highly diligent, with a keen eye for detail and a low tolerance for errors

  • Results oriented, able to meet established deadlines

  • Strong work ethic, with tolerance for late hours and working to occasional urgent turn-around times

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, and efficiently manage multiple on-going projects / tasks

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)                                                                                                                                          

  • Ability to operate as part of a team, exhibiting professional maturity and sound interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to travel (<10%)
