Job Title: ETD Clearing Operations Analyst    

Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President

Location: Chester

Role Description:

ETD Clearing Operations provides clearing and asset servicing activities for exchange traded futures and options and OTC cleared derivatives for a broad range of clients (hedge funds, professional traders including market makers, proprietary trading firms, advisors and investment banks).  The team offers premium post execution trade clearing, control and life cycle event management. We manage open interest across 83 exchanges globally, supporting 15 Legal entities. Clearing hubs in Chicago, Chester, Singapore & India provide 24/6 global follow-the-sun coverage. Day to day processes include position monitoring, trade Lifecycle event processing, Reconciliation, Break resolution and Stakeholder management.

The Team:

  • Ability to successfully navigate and connect within a matrix work environment
  • Experience working in Financial Services environment to strict deadlines
  • Must be able to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
  • Shift working may be required for coverage 7am – 7pm (dependent on role) with some weekend work based on business needs

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day trade lifecycle support operations
  • Work with business partners to resolve escalated issues
  • Suggest and improve business processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing change
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects for Operational Excellence process improvements
  • Act as a role model and motivate a team
  • Be comfortable with multi-tasking, delegation and Senior stakeholder communication
  • Support the oversight of offshore functions
  • Monitor daily functional activity and escalation.
  • Partnering with Operational Risk and Operation Functions in order to enhance the Control environment, reviewing action plans in order to remediate control related issues.
  • Develop and evaluate existing group controls and ensure compliance with internal bank policies.
