Role Description:

Reference Data Management is responsible for Client Account and Product static data set up and maintenance across multiple platforms and products globally.   Static maintenance is an integral part of the BAU for the bank, as front, middle, and back office partners are reliant upon the data in the trading and operations platforms as the creation and maintenance of account level reference data, including standing settlement instructions, facilitate the processing and settlement of trades across all global market product classifications. .  Reference Data Management associates play a fundamental and influential role in driving the execution of strategic change initiatives, providing leadership, point of escalation, and subject matter expertise for our business and operations partners.  You will join a close-knit and industrious group of professionals where you will soon begin impacting the business and our clients by:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency and engage in strategic and industry change initiatives
Developing deep product and operational knowledge of account onboarding and maintenance for our GBS partners, across multiple products and jurisdictions within global markets for institutional clients 
Exploring methods to enhance processes, further reduce risks, and boost client satisfaction and streamline functionality where applicable, i.e. corporate actions processing
Engaging in cross-team collaboration and gaining exposure to diverse product lines 
Acting as a product and Process leadership and guidance for junior associates
Escalation management for the products covered, including entity and account level corporate actions

Oversight of functions performed in GBS supporting account static and corporate actions as well as involvement in strategic delivery of process improvements

Core Skills:

Strong understanding of the importance of data accuracy and integrity, with experience in a data driven role
- Strong attention to detail and process driven mindset to drive change in the organization
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information to all levels of the organization
- Self motivated with ability to work independently to define and implement organizational strategy
- Knowledge of core lines of business within a large banking organization
- Demonstration of problem solving and strategic thinking

Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward.
