Job Title: Risk Governance – Senior Business Control Specialist

Corporate Title:  Vice President  

Location: London/ Bromley/ Chester and Dublin

Role Description:

  • Providing horizontal oversight of all risk issues and events through designing and implementing reporting and governance routines

  • Developing and standardizing risk management processes to ensure consistent approaches are taken across the organization by working closely with other control partners

  • Providing qualitative and quantitative analysis on risk issues and events to the Operations leadership team to drive risk-based decisions to strengthen the control environment

  • Coordinating self-assessments / attestations to ensure timeliness and completeness as well as monitor any remediation required

  • Designing and implementing a risk culture initiative to continue to drive awareness across the organization

The Team:

We are looking to recruit for Risk Governance function within Global Markets Operations Client Operational Services Business and Control Enablement team. The Risk Governance team members are key stakeholders across the wider Operations Risk network connecting with Global Operations and Global Markets Operations risk groups as well as control partners including Audit and Compliance.

Core Skills:

  • Positive and motivated to perform in an diverse environment where the type of work will regularly change

  • Track record of improving processes and demonstrating successful teamwork

  • Knowledgeable in Global Markets products or support functions

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to be able to drive and influence risk-based decisions

  • Excellent people /stakeholder management skills at all levels of seniority

  • Analytical skills, attention to detail and objective problem solver

  • Ability to work independently and be results driven while being a great team player
