Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core financial needs of individual clients and plan participants by providing best in class, integrated products in the most intuitive, efficient and client friendly way while maintaining a forward thinking mindset and risk management focus.  RPWS is responsible for both the institutional and personal retirement capability set to include 401(k), Equity and Health Benefit plans for companies of all sizes as well as college savings, personal retirement planning, retirement income, insurance and estate planning for individuals. RPWS also provides tools and content that enables advisors and bankers to help their client’s live their best financial lives.

Job Description:

The Proposal Acceptance Manager role oversees all aspects of the review and approvals of requests for pricing and proposals for the suite of products supported
by the Institutional Retirement client pricing and proposals teams. This includes supervising the day to day activities of Proposal Acceptance Associates along
with developing and implementing strategic objectives for the overall proposal acceptance process. Proposal acceptance reviews are conducted to determine
platform fit and compatibility prior to issuing a proposal. The Proposal Acceptance Associate issues a bid/no bid decision based on the information provided, and
serves as gatekeeper for all new plan business by assessing opportunities and recommending best practices that take into account potential risk. Partner
strategically with Sales, Advisors, Relationship Managers, Operations, Product, and all levels of management within Institutional Retirement to comply with the
overall firm strategy of responsible growth.

Requirements:

•Seasoned professional with expert knowledge of the retirement business.
•Financial Services industry experience, with a focus on Defined Contribution/Equity Compensation plans.
•Prior personnel management experience preferred.
•Knowledge in securities regulations and Federal securities laws governing the industry and ERISA guidelines.
•Strong Financial and Analytical skills.
•Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment
•Knowledge of industry trends, competitive advantages, and product offerings.
•Thorough understanding of the Firm’s platform capabilities, and those of our various partners.
•Ability to work in a team environment including clients, management, finance, legal, etc.
•Ideal candidate will possess both a strategic thinking expertise as well as an ability to plan and execute tactical actions to
implement strategic objectives.
•Superior interpersonal skills necessary to communicate complex information to a wide variety of personnel in a clear, concise
and well-organized manner. Strong relationship building skills are required to collaborate effectively and enhance the Bank of
America/Merrill Lynch image.
•Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management within the organization.
•Have sound risk management and decision-making skills. Ability to make decisions quickly with limited information.
•Identify and prioritize projects to ensure consistency with business objectives and strategic initiatives.

Colorado pay and benefits information

Colorado pay range:

$103,300 - $123,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
