Digital Advice & Planning Manager

Job Description:

As a Digital Product Owner, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional digital (online and mobile) client experiences. Day-to-day, this means owning specific online functionality for an automated managed investment platform. This includes collaboration with our chief digital executive and line of business to outline high level epics and prioritization. Delivering prioritized epics, executing technical enhancements from requirements to testing, performing ongoing maintenance, listening to client needs and articulating their priorities, and providing subject matter expertise across wealth, investments & retirement. 

Enterprise Role Overview:

  • Independently leads e-commerce/ initiatives channel strategies and research projects. 
  • Works closely with business partners in creating new client and advisor experience  
  • Expertise in planning and advice, client engagement and goals, and managed solutions. 
  • Tap into competitive analysis and intel to keep the digital first motto thriving. 

     
About you:

  • You have a passion for investing and experience working on consumer facing digital products in highly regulated industries. 
  • You think about what is coming next. In managed investing, this may mean new solutions, strategies, and approaches. 
  • You excel in a fast-paced environment independently by earning respect of your partners. 
  • You enjoy and find success driving consensus across functional teams (technology, UX, legal, risk, compliance, client facing channels, marketing, and managed investment teams). 
  • You have the unique ability to get into the details and work through challenging problems, but are able to communicate across the organization at varying executive levels regarding your product.
     

Required Skills: "MUST" have these skills to be minimally qualified.

  • Three+ years web or mobile design experience and a strong understanding of design principles
  • Three+ years as Product Owner, Business/Systems Analyst, or Project Manager
  • Five+ years' experience in financial services
  • Strong knowledge base regarding investment solutions
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Excellent computer skills, including the use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • BS or BA required

Desired Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Wealth, Investment & Retirement business and segment priorities
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies of project management
