Senior Operations Consultant

Scranton, Pennsylvania;

Job Description:

The Wire Repair GPO Operations Consultant will play a fundamental and influential role in delivering key analysis feedback to our Business Partners to improve overall payment accuracy and timeliness resulting in improved client/customer experience and reduced risk. You will join an industrious group of professionals where you will soon begin impacting the business and our clients by:

  • Recognize, identify and communicate analysis feedback to our Business Partners to improve overall payment accuracy and timeliness resulting in improved client/customer experience and reduced risk
  • Review operations procedures and implements changes and ensures the enforcement and adherence to operations procedures
  • Provides guidance to staff and may handle exception items or unusual situations, referring more complex problems to a senior level manager
  • Provide input into key people decisions (i.e. Performance management, hiring/firing, training etc.)
  • Approximately 50% of time is spent doing actual production work

  • This will be a 3rd Shift position 11pm-8am

  • Typically has 1-2 years Operations experience
  • Ability to lead, as well as follow and mentor fellow associates
  • A self-starter who can complete tasks, assist others and commit to team endeavors with little supervision
  • Fundamental working knowledge of end to end Wire Repair payment processing
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to assess situations with a sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Risk focused with the ability to escalate concerns to senior leadership team and embrace the Identify, Escalate and Debate risk culture
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with various teams, executives and external clients
  • Ability to navigate the organization, partnering with various Line of Businesses, Band levels and business partners, to ensure positive outcomes for all decisions impacting the business
  • Maintains professionalism in stressful situations
  • Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovative and unique solutions
  • Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
