Small Business Retirement Senior Product Manager / Team Leader

Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core financial needs of individual clients and plan participants by providing best in class, integrated products in the most intuitive, efficient and client friendly way while maintaining a forward-thinking mindset and risk management focus.  RPWS is responsible for both the institutional retirement capability set to include 401(k), Equity and Health Benefit plans for companies of all sizes. RPWS also provides tools and content that enables advisors and bankers to help their clients live their best financial lives.

Job Description:

This position plays a key role leading the Small Business Retirement product team and within the Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions line of business. The candidate will work with the line of business partners to define and execute the strategic vision, as well as the day-to-day initiatives to support the platform and business growth across channels. Responsibilities require institutional retirement expertise and product/project management experience.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy across enterprise and client segments for small business retirement products including SEP, SIMPLE and BASIC, including the consumer and wealth management channels
  • Engage channel partners to develop and execute scalable channel strategies
  • Ensure compliance with regulation that govern these account types
  • Collaborate with managers of adjacent product types, including Defined Contribution and Retail IRA, as needed to evolve and manage the business
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Lead the team to drive business, identify gaps, and position platform for growth and retention
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure product capabilities are accurately and compellingly depicted across marketing channels and mediums – including state-specific strategies

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-10 years of related business experience
  • Minimum of 3 years within the retirement or financial services industries
  • Fundamental knowledge of retirement investing
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Tableau and JIRA a plus
  • Effectively establish relationships and work cross functionally
  • Commitment to quality, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Challenges the status quo and recommends new approaches/ideas
  • Highly motivated team player with a desire to work on a wide range of projects
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
