Proficiency Coach I

Job Description:

Prepares and organizes activities and demonstrations to ensure all planned topics are covered according to the on-boarding timeline. May assign and manage workflow during on-boarding in coordination with site leadership. When not on-boarding, focus is on up-skilling and new initiatives for in-role associates, including coaching, training, and assessing performance. Works individually with frontline associates to build their professional proficiency beyond standard skills acquired in training. May conduct file reviews and performs case review audits for open and closed cases as necessary to provide feedback and ensure consistency across the department. Responsible for improvements in associate confidence and speed to proficiency. Collaborates with the management team to design successful action plans that improve overall performance. Coordinates and manages the procedure revisions and updates and works with Business Support and Procedure Writers to ensure procedure accuracy. Supports unit conformity to prescribed standard work processes and reduction of variability in the unit. Supports Unit leader with operational routines and supports unit business continuity. Facilitates Knowledge Sharing Sessions within the department to further educate associates and host our business partner’s presentations. 

Required Skills:

Previous experience with coaching/training. 

Excellent time management and prioritization skills. 

Excellent written/verbal communication skills. 

Self-motivated and able to be productive with minimal direction. 

Analytical skills in stratifying data for maximum impact.

Experience with a broad range of legal orders.

Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Desired Skills:

Strong collaboration and partnering skills, ability to work across functions and partners.
