Line of Business Role Description

The candidate will be an integral part of the Global Markets Operations - Americas Project team's efforts to execute strategic, industry, regulatory and business initiatives in the advancement Bank of America's critical objectives.  The candidate must have extensive Securities Operations experience and a strong complement of project manager skills.  The candidate will leverage their securities Operations and industry experience to drive and implement change within  Global Markets.  They will serve as a leader and change agent by driving the various initiatives through every phase of the project life cycle.  The candidate will partner with Operations, Middle Office, Front Office and Technology as well as other areas of the bank in executing and managing these initiatives.  The candidate must have excellent analytical and process change skills with the ability understand the subject matter in detail by defining the root cause, and creating thought out solutions that align with the bank's tragic goals.  The candidate will use project management skills to scope the project, identify roles and resource requirements, define and execute project deliverables.  The candidate will document business requirements where required, organize the team, publishes the project plan when required, and provides updates to senior management.

- Accountable for the execution of medium to large-scale operational changes through technology deployments utilizing Enterprise change standards.
- Partner with Lines of Business, Process Owners, Technology and other support partners to ensure management of critical risks with cohesive implementation strategies across cash security products

- Working with Compliance to drive out the regulations that have to be actioned.
- Managing program implementation and reporting on progress against plan and budget utilization.

Required Skills

•    10 years of Securities Operations experience at various levels with a focus on Cash Equity and Fixed Income products including experience in driving change in large cross-functional initiatives.
•    Experience in driving change with large scale initiatives

•    Strong project management experience  
•    Highly organized, strong verbal and written communication skills, 
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
•    High proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
